Pumpkin peanut butter dog biscuits. I had half of a roasted kabocha squash (Japanese pumpkin) to use up, so I made Loki some puppy treats – perfect timing for #NationalDogDay! I tend to make him gluten-free treats with Glutino flour, and these are one of his favorites. Pumpkin gives these treats a beautiful color and sweetness, along with providing them with great fiber and beta-carotene, which help ease any tummy issues. In the past, I’ve rolled these out and used fun cookie cutter shapes, but this time I did a slice and bake and pressed in tiny hearts.
